Self-Publishing Workshop

Join Yecheilyah as she hosts her inaugural self-publishing workshop! The event takes place at the Medu Bookstore at the Greenbriar Mall in Atlanta on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 5:00-6:30p EST.

Indie Author Basics

The misconception that self-published publications can't compete with traditionally published books has been exacerbated by poor editing, amateur cover art, and nonexistent formatting.

By concentrating on enhancing these fundamentals, independent authors put themselves in a competitive position on the market and contribute to dispelling the myth that all self-published books are subpar.

My goal is to help writers (YOU) with their foundation (the basics) so they can go from aspiring to published authors at the highest levels of professionalism.

Keep Yourself Full Virtual Book Release

Keep Yourself Full Virtual Book Release

About.

Keep Yourself Full is a spiritual handbook that focuses on our return to self-love. It is a reminder that self-care nourishes the quality of our lives and makes us fit to be of service to others. Through my testimony, I give examples of how we self-abuse and how that differs from self-love, why it is essential not to take things so personally, why we must establish and enforce healthy boundaries, and how assumptions kill relationships. We learn that by investing in our well-being spiritually, physically, mentally, and professionally, we can be of service fully to others. It cannot be ignored that we treat others how we feel about ourselves. When we realize that what we do to others, we are equally doing to ourselves, we can use this awareness to heal. By treating ourselves better, we treat others better. Keep Yourself Full is about keeping ourselves filled with love and all that is good so that we are overflowing with enough to share with everyone else.

“I am getting tons of emails from you all about the festival and there seems to be some confusion. For clarity, I am not the host, coordinator, or organizer of this event. I cannot give you information on how to sell your books there. If you are an author and would like to be a vendor you will need to contact AAABF by visiting the website at www.aaabookfest.com. The event is on this page because I am a featured author of the event and I am inviting readers of my work (or potential readers) out to support me (if you are a lover of poetry, Black Historical Fiction, Women’s Fiction, and Inspirational Non-Fiction) but I am not the organizer. I cannot give you information on how to pay for a table to sell your books except to refer you to the website. “
